Equine Park Senior School Sports Day

Myself, Graham, Mum & Mick, Milo and Ruby all turned up to show our support.

Sara has been training really hard for this, so it was lovely to see her run soo well in her three races. She ran the 1500m and came 1st. Followed by the 300m coming 1st again out of 8 girls. She was short of the school record by .50th of a second! In the Mixed 100m relay her team were placed 3rd. This has now secured her with a place in the Under 15's FOBISSEA Games, which take place in Phuket at the end of February. She will be running the two above races and playing football.

Charlotte did equally well in her chosen races. She ran early in the morning in the 800m and came an impressive 1st against some very competitive runners. (My camera packed up half way threw her race, so I didnt manage to get her on film). In the 100m she also ran really well coming 3rd behind two of the fastest girls in the year. Her relay team showed everyone how to do it by coming 1st and beating the Yr 7 relay record! Charlotte has also been chosen for the Under 13's Netball FOBISSEA Squad and travels down to Singapore on the 17th Feb.

In the first video, Charlotte is running on the outside lane in red.
In the second video, Sara is running towards the back in yellow.

Family Visit to KL

Kate, Steve and kids, Milo and Ruby made the long journey out here to spend two weeks in our warmer climits and to catch up with us after a year. Ruby was just 2 weeks old when we last saw her at Christmas 06. She's now 13 months and a beautiful little girl with a great Frown! Milo is now nearly 3yrs and chatting away, wanting to know anything about everything!

Mum and Mick came out a week later and we babysat whilst Kate and Steve took a few days away in Langkawi, soaked up the sun, done some diving and hopefully, relaxed.

The following pictures are of the few places we visited whilst they were here, including The Chinese Lion Dance at Hamish's School, The Chinese Temple in KL, Bird Park and of course our dinner out to celebrate Mum's Birthday!
