Birthdays

Similar to the UK, kids parties seem to be becoming more and more "adventurous". We have been to Rock-Climbing, Cinema, Pool Parties (the most popular), Go-Carting, Banana Boat, Aquarium, Pottery, Art-Attack Parties.

I think the most memorable to date was a Birthday Party Charlotte went to. Go-Carting. The kids had 2 hours of track racing, followed by 1 hour of eating and drinking. The parents had been sent to China Town to pick up some copied Formula 1 gear (T-shirts, baseball caps, padded jackets) and then the kids were split up into small ability groups. The winners from each had the pleasure of standing on the podium and receiving their prizes!

Hamish had his Birthday Party in December at the KLCC Aquaria. A lovely 1yr old aquarium, that stocks some amazing fish and sharks. The party organizers laid on a tour of the aquarium followed by food and a clown for entertainment. They also provided goodie bags from the gift shop and the cake. The kids talked about it for weeks!
