Getting Started in Kuala Lumpur

We moved out to KL in February, and I can see this Blog as being an ideal tool in letting everyone we know, experience and see a part of our lives which, in future years, we will never forget.

Life was a little hard to start with. Setting up the house, phones, computers, TVs, furniture, Schools, Work, Shops. In a place we had absolutely no idea where to start. But we found a lot of friendly people including a great Landlord, who seems to bed over backwards for us. There also a few Expat neighbors nearby who were all willing to help and give advise.

The house is set back from a very quiet small cul-da-sac. We have a small house in comparison to our neighbor's, with 5 large bedrooms all en-suit. Spare room, lounge, kitchen diner and maids quarters. As you can see from the picture we also have a small swimming pool, which has been a great asset.
